Bluffer's guide.

I uncovered this little bit of information when doing some research on the Church of Ireland, (see below post).
Maybe this is old news but I never knew the COI and the Methodist church had signed a covenant. This is a very good thing IMO.

My feelings are that it will form a more cohesive unit. Because the protestant (or reformed) churches do not make decisions based on a hierarchial system, and on a more democratic system, (in the COI through the general synod). I feel that it would be advantagous to have more people making these decisions.
Working towards a reformed churches partnership in Ireland would provide the protestant community with a more useful platform from which to work.
The splintered set up we have causes more harm than good, with attendees of each church claiming spiritual superiority over the next. This is not helpful...IMO.
