BBC's Restoration

BBC have been running a show called Restoration for a few weeks now, it is well worth a watch. By donating to the Restoration Fund you can help preserve some of our architectural heritage. The last show had a real gem of a house and most probably will be the winner IMO. Mavisbank in Edinburgh was last owned by a dodgey bloke who revelled in allowing the house to fall into disrepair to the annoyance of those who have an interest in preserving heritage. He turned it into a scrap yard and eventually burnt it down.
They are coming to Northern Ireland soon, full details here. Crescent Arts Centre, Lissan House and Herdman's Mill in Strabane are competing for a place in the final.
