NIR get a lot of abuse for a variety of reasons, but I got the train to work today both trains were bang on time, the carriages were clean, and the conducters were friendly. The new coffee shop in central charges £1.75 for a crap latte but that isn't the fault of NIR.
Memorable part of the journey was two English tourists asking the conducter how far a walk from the station is the abbey in Whiteabbey. I fear they are going to be very disappointed.
