Wireless Post
Couldn't wait for my birthday (which is tomorrow incidentally) to get this wireless router ripped open and started up. This is my first wireless post, granted I am sitting three feet from the router at the moment, but I'm about to go for a walk round the house to check it out. I had to do absolutely nothing to get it working, just plugged it all in and it all worked, god knows how many people will find my blatantly open network as I have no idea what needs done to prevent anyone being parasitic.
Just added to this post from my bed, it just doesn't seem to drop anywhere I am amazed.

Happy Birthday.

Netgear WGR614:

I have an 802.11b card for my laptop, but I wanted the router to work with 802.11g when I get a better card. It is a piss easy install, the only thing I would say is when you set up broadband/adsl originally use the ethernet connection. I set mine up via USB but it needs to be ethernet to connect to the router.

I've (almost) decided on this one:

Mostly because the little blue box is pretty.

Happy Birthday...
I've got the Buffalo airstation, pretty good wireless kit, well happy with it. Their support is also good, a firmware upgrade didn't complete correctly and they talked me how to fix it.
You'll want to look at configuring WEP on your wireless router and network card. Should be in the instructions that came with it or a quick google should sort you out. Good luck.
