Ramon Kelvink is a looper as they say in this part of the world. I watched him on Friday as he performed his death defying display outside the city hall. The tight rope walk out from the first dome was straight forward and just as I expected. However on reaching the scaffolding tower at the gates of the city hall, he proceeded to scale it like a monkey. On top of the tower was a bendy pole with a disc on top he started to swing on this, with no safety net. This was hard to watch without feeling sick. He then stood a top the disc, which was on top of the bendy pole, on top of the scaffolding tower and started to rotate his hips. It was an incredible display, I salute you Ramon, you deserved a more rowsing end to your show other than a few drunken wolf whistles and a cricket hand clap.
